Senators Double Up Baltimore, 4-2
|

He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. Burkett allowed 2 earned runs. Earning his 10th save for Washington was Troy Percival.
Washington third baseman Freddy F Garcia contributed to the cause with a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, Garcia went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Burkett.
