Senators Hapless Against Tigers, Garrelts
|
Detroit Tigers starter Scott Garrelts was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Washington Senators, 5-0. The Tigers raised their record to 12-15.
Garrelts gave Detroit a solid start. The right-hander, who is listed at 6' 4", 205 lbs, allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Garrelts told the Detroit Observer.
