Rodriguez Helps Orlando Cruise to 16-3 Win
The Orlando Devil Rays stopped the Cincinnati Reds, 16-3, at Riverfront Stadium. The Devil Rays got a big game from Ivan Rodriguez, who went 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 5. The Reds drop to 14-14 and continue their inconsistent start to the 1997 season.

Tim Salmon came through for the Devil Rays in the top of the third inning. With Orlando leading 1-0, the right fielder had a run-scoring walk.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Salmon.
