Red Sox Prove Rude Guests, Win 6-2 at Orlando
|
Boston Red Sox starter Mike Remlinger was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Orlando Sun Rays, 6-2. The Sun Rays fall to 11-17 and continue their lackluster start to the 1995 season.
The Red Sox took the lead in the top of the third. With no one out, Henry L. Rodriguez hit a 3-run home run off Orlando pitcher Jimmy Key, putting Boston in front, 6-1. For the game, Rodriguez went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Remlinger told the Boston Daily News.
