Daniels Hits 2 home runs in Twins Win
|
Kal Daniels knocked in 6 runs to help Minnesota beat Milwaukee, 9-4. Daniels produced 1 single and 2 home runs. Kevin Ritz picked up the win with 5.1 innings of work. He allowed 4 earned runs on 8 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 1-3. With the loss, Milwaukee falls to 18-11.
Flexing his muscles for Minnesota was the aforementioned Daniels. The designated hitter had a 2-run home run in the top of the third for the Twins. It put his team ahead, 3-1, and sent them on to victory.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Daniels told the Minnesota Herald.
