Yankees Rally For Late Win Over Red Sox
New York pitcher Mark Langston did his part in helping his team beat the Boston Red Sox, 4-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Even with the win, the Yankees have a dismal 48-91 record.

New York relied on the bat of Orlando Cabrera to get the win. The shortstop ripped a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Yankees ahead, 3-2. For the game, Cabrera had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Langston said after the game.
