|
The Milwaukee Creams overcame a good performance by Cleveland catcher Todd Hundley to knock off Cleveland, 7-5, at League Park. Hundley belted 2 home runs. Milwaukee, now 19-11, has gotten their season off to a good start.
With no one out in the top of the eighth, Chipper Jones put Milwaukee in front, 5-3, with a solo home run. The Creams went on to win the ballgame.
Jones told a Milwaukee Times reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
