Guthrie Hurls Shutout
Mark Guthrie of the Montreal Expos humiliated the Baltimore Orioles at Olympic Stadium today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 3 hits.

"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Baltimore manager Daniel Ward, after the game.

Guthrie whiffed 9 and walked 5 in the 15-0 win.

"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Guthrie said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."

To date Guthrie is 17-10 in 29 starts with a 3.13 ERA and has 214 strikeouts in 241.2 innings.
