A 4-RBI performance from Howard Johnson, who finished 3rd in the FL in home runs with 51 in 1990, helped the Cleveland Spiders beat the Boston Red Sox, 11-10. Cleveland is now riding a 5-game win streak.

Cleveland took a 11-10 lead on Tomas Perez's 10th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Boston pitcher Paul Assenmacher in the bottom of the ninth.

"This team is real focused right now," said Cleveland manager Wilson Ogle.
