Reds Come Back Late to Clip Yankees
The Cincinnati Reds got a stellar performance from pitcher Jose Rijo, who handcuffed the New York offense en route to a 3-2 win at Riverfront Stadium. Cincinnati is now 86-57, 3 games up in the Federal League East Division.

One significant plate appearance for Cincinnati came with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning. Reds second baseman Fernando Vina hit a sacrifice fly, which helped Cincinnati go on to win.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Vina said.
