Senators Prove Rude Guests, Win 7-2 at Baltimore
|
The Baltimore Orioles went down to defeat to Woody Williams and his Washington teammates. The final score was 7-2 in favor of the Senators. Even with the win, the Senators have a dismal 47-99 record.
It could have been a different outcome for Washington, had it not been for Mike Stanley, the four-time All-Star . Stanley contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Washington up, 3-1.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Williams.
