Marlins Come Back Late to Top Reds
Scott Spiezio did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Cincinnati Reds from losing, 8-7, to the Florida Marlins at Riverfront Stadium. Spiezio went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Florida now has a 3-game win streak.

Florida used the bat of Butch Huskey to get the win. The right fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Marlins ahead, 8-7. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Huskey.
