Red Sox Rally For Late Win Over Cardinals

The Boston Red Sox picked up a win at Fenway Park, knocking off the St. Louis Cardinals, 4-3. Starting pitcher Mark Thompson played a key role in the triumph. Rosario Rodriguez picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Steve Olin was tagged with the loss. Boston has now won 3 in a row.
Henry L. Rodriguez aided the Boston cause with a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1 for 1 with a home run.
