Padres C Taubensee goes 4-for-4 in Win
The San Diego Padres defeated the New York Mets, 8-2, at Jack Murphy Stadium today. Leading the charge for San Diego was catcher Ed Taubensee. He was 4-4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Chuck Finley went 7 innings for San Diego to pick up the win. The left-hander was charged with 2 earned runs.
