The first-place Los Angeles Dodgers welcomed Detroit to Dodger Stadium.
The Los Angeles Dodgers stopped the Detroit Tigers, 8-5, at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers got a big game from Chris Brown, who was 2 for 3 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The Tigers, at 45-103, have lost 9 straight games.
