Expos Need Extra Frames to Get Past Dodgers
The Montreal Expos and Los Angeles Dodgers put on quite a show at Dodger Stadium.

Montreal right-hander Pedro Martinez pitched his team to a shutout win, 4-0, over the Los Angeles Dodgers. With the win, the Expos have a record of 88-62.

Though he did not get the decision, Martinez did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 8.1 innings, until Montreal eventually rallied past the Dodgers.

"Our team showed some spunk," said Martinez.
