Yankees Bang Out 6-2 Win Versus Milwaukee
The New York Yankees knocked off the Milwaukee Creams, 6-2, at Yankee Stadium. Bubba Trammell, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason New York won. The left fielder was 3-4 with a triple and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. New York is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Trammell had a game-changing triple in the bottom of the sixth. On a 1-2 slider from Wally Whitehurst, he banged a 2-run triple to left-center, giving the Yankees a 4-2 lead. It was the 1st triple of the year for Trammell.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Trammell said.
