Senators Lose, 5-2, at Dodger Stadium
Los Angeles rode a good effort from starter Aaron Sele to beat the Washington Senators at Dodger Stadium. The final score was 5-2. Sele got the win, improving to 4-2. He allowed 4 hits and walked 3 over 6 innings. Sele allowed 2 earned runs. Losses have been rare for the Senators, who are now 21-8.

Homer Bush drove in one run for Los Angeles. The 24-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Kevin Millwood. It was his 12th RBI of the season.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Los Angeles manager Dave Ginter.
