Spiders Win at Chicago, 5-1
|
Cleveland got an elite performance from starting pitcher Bob Sebra in taking a 5-1 decision over the Chicago White Sox. The 4th-place Spiders lifted their record to 69-81.
Cleveland designated hitter Darryl Strawberry contributed to the cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the third. For the game, Strawberry went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Strawberry said after the game.
