Gonzalez Hits for the Cycle
Cubs left fielder Luis Gonzalez made big news today in Chicago's 9-1 victory over the New York Yankees. He was 4-for-5 at the plate and hit for the cycle, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run.

"My numbers were gaudy but lots of guys deserve a share of the credit today," Gonzalez said later.

Luis Gonzalez hit a solo-shot off Mark Clark in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.

This year Gonzalez is hitting .253 with 26 home runs.
