Multi-HR Game for Easley in 5-1 Win
The Cincinnati Reds handed the Atlanta Braves a loss at Riverfront Stadium. The final score was 5-1. Damion Easley was named player of the game for Cincinnati. In addition to his 1 single and 2 home runs, he scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Kevin Gross picked up the win, improving his season record to 11-12. He struck out 11 in 7.1 innings. Todd Worrell notched his 22nd save in 28 chances.

Easley came through with some timely hitting for Cincinnati. With the score 1-1 in the bottom of the third and one down, Easley hit a 1-0 fastball for a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season made it 3-1, Cincinnati.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Easley said after the game.

The Reds bumped their record to 82-71 with this latest triumph.
