The Milwaukee Creams defeated the St. Louis Cardinals, 5-2, in Federal League action at Milwaukee County Stadium, with Milwaukee pitcher Matt Young named player of the game. Milwaukee is now riding a 3-game win streak.

The Creams picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"I thought we played a nice game," Young told the Milwaukee Times. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
