Young Dazzles in New York Win
|
The New York Yankees picked up a win at Yankee Stadium, knocking off the Boston Red Sox, 2-0. Starting pitcher Anthony Young played a key role in the triumph. With the victory, the Yankees record now stands at 65-90.
Young gave New York a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 7.1 innings.
"Anthony did a tremendous job," said New York manager Patrick McQuail.
