Yankees Blanked by Seminara
|
The Orlando Sun Rays rolled to an easy 5-0 win over the New York Yankees at Orlando Citrus Bowl today. Leading the way to victory was starter Frank Seminara, who shackled the New York Yankees and held them scoreless on a 1-hitter.
"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Seminara said in his postgame press conference.
Seminara has taken the mound for 8 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 6-2 record with a 3.92 ERA. The Orlando reliever has limited opposing batters to a .194 batting average.
