Red Sox Lose to Spiders, 10-5
|
Darryl Strawberry helped his team muscle past the Boston Red Sox, 10-5. In the game, the Cleveland designated hitter went 2 for 6 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. The Spiders, at 71-86, sit in 4th place in the Federal League East Division.
Strawberry came through for the Spiders in the top of the second inning. With Cleveland trailing 1-0, the designated hitter hit a 3-run home run. It made the score 3-1, Cleveland.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Strawberry.
