Twins Lose, 3-2, at Wrigley Field

The Chicago Cubs managed to get by the Minnesota Twins, 3-2, at Wrigley Field. Chicago pitcher Paul Wagner took player of the game honors. Alberto Reyes was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 9 of 15 save opportunities. Today's win puts Chicago at 69-88, while Minnesota falls to 70-87.
Derek Bell had a big hit for Chicago in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Chicago leading 2-0, Bell hit a run-scoring double. It was his 12th double of the season and put the Cubs up, 3-0.
Wagner said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
