The Orlando Devil Rays got a stellar performance from pitcher Joe Johnson, who handcuffed the Boston offense en route to a 7-1 win at Orlando Citrus Bowl. Boston has now lost 4 in a row.

Ivan Rodriguez made an early impact for Orlando when he stroked his 25th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came with no one out in the bottom of the second, put the Devil Rays on top, 3-0.

"You score one run, you're not going to win," said Boston skipper Brett Williams. "You can have three Koufaxes and three Drysdales, you're still not going to win."
