Charlotte shortstop Nomar Garciaparra had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 5-4 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. The Knights bumped their record to 84-74 with this latest triumph.
Garciaparra made an early impact for Charlotte when he stroked his 25th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came in the top of the first, put the Knights on top, 3-0.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Garciaparra.
