History was made today at Riverfront Stadium -- Jose Rijo won game #200 to seal his name in the league record books. The Cincinnati ace downed the Orlando Devil Rays 6-0 to gain entrance into the elite 200 Club.

"I was wound up at first. I think I threw too hard," remarked Rijo, "I had to calm down and go out there and pitch... not just throw. I think I got better as the game wore on. I started to think less about 200 wins and more about doing what I had to do."

Rijo has collected 200 wins and 125 losses over his career with a 3.88 ERA. The 31-year-old hurler also has struck out 2685 batters in 2953 innings and allowed 2566 hits.
