Yankees Win at Florida, 6-2
|
Spirited fans at Joe Robbie Stadium greeted the Florida Marlins for their clash with the New York Yankees.
New York Yankees starter Armando Reynoso was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Florida Marlins, 6-2. Even with the win, the Yankees have a dismal 37-122 record.
It could have been a different outcome for New York, had it not been for Quinton McCracken, the 26-year old left fielder . McCracken contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put New York up, 5-2.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said McCracken.
