Rangers Lose, 4-1, at Royals Stadium
|
Kansas City Royals starter Kevin Brown was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Texas Rangers, 4-1. The first-place Royals, at 97-62, now lead their division by 2 games.
Early in the game, center fielder Andruw Jones had a 2-run home run for Kansas City. It was his 18th home run of the season and put the Royals on top, 2-0.
"We've got a great group of guys," Brown said, "and we're having fun right now."
