The Colorado Rockies and Los Angeles Dodgers cranked it up at Mile High Stadium.

Los Angeles starter Aaron Sele pitched effectively against the Colorado Rockies at Mile High Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a 7-3 win. In 5.1 innings, Sele surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 2. He allowed no runs.

Los Angeles used the bat of Andy Van Slyke to get the win. The designated hitter hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Dodgers ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Van Slyke said.
