Senators Lose, 4-2, at Oakland Coliseum
|
Oakland Athletics starter Todd Stottlemyre was in fine form against the Washington Senators at Oakland Coliseum, leading his team to a 4-2 win. The Athletics are off to a tough start, getting just their 10th win in 32 games.
Leon Durham put Oakland in front, 3-0, when he took Andy Pettitte downtown. His 2-run home run came with one out in the bottom of the second. It was his 1st home run of the season.
"We did enough to win," said Durham.
