Gordon picked up the win for Boston, going 7 innings. He gave up no runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 4-2. The Red Sox bumped their record to 18-15 with this latest triumph.
Barry Bonds swatted a 2-run home run for Boston in the bottom of the sixth. The left fielder went 2 for 3 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 3.
