Nokes goes 4-for-5 as Orioles Squeeze Past Oakland
Behind the bravura of catcher Matt Nokes, the Baltimore Orioles topped the Oakland Athletics by the score of 6-5. Nokes went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Orioles. Picking up the save was Roger McDowell, his 3rd. The Orioles improve their record to 15-18 with the win over Oakland.

In the top of the ninth, Nokes had one of his most important at-bats: a 2-run home run off Jason Bere that staked the Orioles to a 6-5 lead.

"We found a way to get it done," Nokes said.
