Mack on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Washington
|
Shane Mack was on fire today and sparked his club to a 11-9 victory over the Senators. The Los Angeles left fielder was a tough out and went 5-for-5 against Washington in a fine hitting display.
"I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody and some days they fall in."
Shane Mack singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off John Mitchell in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
This year Mack has collected a .287 batting average to date with 37 hits in 129 at-bats, 21 RBIs, 5 home runs and scored 25 times. He has played in 33 games.
