Senators Come Back Late to Top Diamondbacks
Washington beat Arizona at RFK Stadium, eking out a 3-2 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Livan Hernandez, who earned player of the game honors. Earning his 11th save for Washington was Troy Percival. The Senators bumped their record to 22-11 with this latest triumph.

Vladimir Guerrero contributed an important at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With the bases empty, he hit a solo home run. It was one at-bat that helped send Washington to the win.

Guerrero told a Washington Herald reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
