It was a fun time at Metrodome, where the Orlando Devil Rays and Minnesota Twins tangled.

Frank Thomas was instrumental in his team's 7-5 triumph over the Orlando Devil Rays. The first baseman was 2-4 with 2 home runs for the Minnesota Twins. Bob Ayrault got credit for the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings.

In the bottom of the sixth, second baseman Rey Ordonez hit a 2-run double to left. The double, which was hit off of Shawn Estes, gave Minnesota a 7-5 lead.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Ordonez told the Minnesota Herald.

The Twins now have a mark of 16-19.
