Spiders Continue Skid Thanks to Barron, Marlins
Marlins center fielder Tony Barron put his stamp on his team's 9-3 win over the Cleveland Spiders. Barron was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Florida in the contest. The losing streak for Cleveland has now reached 4 games.

Charles Johnson contributed to the Florida win. The 1994 Rookie of the Year winner stroked a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Johnson was 1-5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Johnson.
