Spirited fans at RFK Stadium greeted the Washington Senators for their clash with the Montreal Expos.

Montreal rode a decent outing from starter Charles Nagy to victory over the Washington Senators at RFK Stadium. The final score was 5-2. Montreal has now won 3 straight, while the Senators have lost 3 in a row.

Jose Hernandez aided the Montreal cause with a solo home run in the top of the sixth. For the game, the shortstop was 1-3 with a home run.
