The Orlando Devil Rays defeated the Florida Marlins, 8-7, in Federal League action at Joe Robbie Stadium. Craig Biggio received player of the game honors. The 10-year veteran went 2 for 5 with a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. After today's action, Orlando sits at 19-20, while Florida falls to 25-14.

Biggio went 2-5 with a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for Orlando. With the game tied in the top of the sixth inning, Biggio, who finished 2nd in the UL in extra base hits with 74 in 1988, had a clutch at-bat. That's when he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Devil Rays a 6-5 lead.
