Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Diamondbacks
Bob Hamelin did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Colorado Rockies from losing, 10-9, to the Arizona Diamondbacks at Bank One Ballpark. Hamelin was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. Reliever Danny Patterson picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Joey Eischen took the loss. After today's action, Arizona sits at 18-22, while Colorado falls to 23-16.

Mike Bordick had a nice at-bat for the Diamondbacks with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, the shortstop got hit by a pitch, which would prove important in the Arizona win.

"This place was rocking at the end," Bordick said.
