Expos Prevail, 4-2, Over New York
|
Montreal pitcher Pat Hentgen did his part in helping his team beat the New York Mets, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Ed Correa locked down his 6th save. The Mets, now 22-18, have lost 4 in a row.
Ricky Otero in the top of the fifth had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and the Expos trailing 1-0, the Montreal center fielder hit a single.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Hentgen told the Montreal Herald.
