The Milwaukee Creams beat the Chicago Cubs, 13-12 at Wrigley Field, in part due to designated hitter Ken Caminiti, who nabbed player of the game honors. He was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 2. Wes Gardner nailed down his 2nd save.

The result might have been different for Milwaukee, had it not been for Gerald Young. The left fielder produced a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Creams ahead, 13-12. For the game, Young had 1 double and 3 singles in 5 at-bats.
