Dodgers Pull Back to .500 With Win Over Senators
Los Angeles withstood an impressive performance by Washington third baseman Willie Greene to defeat the Senators, 8-7, at RFK Stadium. Greene hit 2 home runs. Bill Pulsipher got credit for the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 2.2 innings. The Dodgers bumped their record to 21-21 with this latest triumph.
