Twins Fall to Mussina and Reds, 4-1
It was a good time at Riverfront Stadium, where fans came to watch the Minnesota Twins and Cincinnati Reds get after it.

The Cincinnati Reds went home winners at Riverfront Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Mike Mussina. Mussina silenced the Minnesota Twins, enabling Cincinnati to grab the 4-1 win. The Reds bumped their record to 26-20 with this latest triumph.

Mussina was effective against the Twins, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Minnesota to just 1 run on 3 hits over 9 innings.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Mussina said.
