Milwaukee starter Matt Young pitched effectively against the Florida Marlins at Milwaukee County Stadium. The left-hander led his team to a 2-1 win. Steve Bedrosian earned the save, his 1st. With the win, Milwaukee boosts its record to 3-3.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and one out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when designated hitter Ken Caminiti, who finished 3rd in the UL in RBI with 108 in 1990, hit a single. The Creams went on to win.

"We put together a nice win," Young said.
