Gooden Finishes Off Diamondbacks
|
Baltimore pitcher Dwight Gooden did his part in helping his team beat the Arizona Diamondbacks, 5-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Baltimore is now 21-25.
Gooden gave Baltimore a solid start. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 5 hits over 9 innings.
"We had a good game plan," Gooden said, "and we were able to execute it."
