Haselman Leads Red Sox to Win over Royals
|
Bill Haselman knocked in 4 runs to help Boston beat Kansas City, 8-0. Haselman produced 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. Boston, at 21-26, sits in 4th place in the Federal League East Division.
With Boston leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Haselman hit a slider from Rheal Cormier for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Red Sox ahead, 3-0.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Haselman said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
