Johnson Lays Hammer Down in 3-0 Win
|
Seattle starter Randy Johnson put a stranglehold on the Toronto offense. The left-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Pilots to a 3-0 win. Earning his 10th save of the year was Darren Holmes. Seattle is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Johnson, now 6-3, scattered 2 hits over 8.1 innings for the Pilots.
"Randy is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Seattle manager .
