Dominant Performance by Remlinger in Boston Win
|
The Boston Red Sox went home winners at Fenway Park, thanks in large part to starter Mike Remlinger. Remlinger silenced the Texas Rangers, enabling Boston to grab the 4-0 win. The win puts the Red Sox at 22-27, while the Rangers drop to 23-25.
Remlinger allowed no earned runs on 2 hits over 6.1 innings for the Red Sox. He walked 2 and struck out 9.
"I just made my pitches," said Remlinger, "and the ball kept missing the bat."
