Walker Hits 2 home runs in Twins Win
Minnesota and Orlando met at Orlando Citrus Bowl in front of a lively crowd.

The Minnesota Twins dealt the Orlando Sun Rays a 12-4 loss at Orlando Citrus Bowl. Larry Walker was the star on offense. He went 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 doubles. He scored 4 times and drove in 5. Pedro Astacio earned the win to go to 4-4. He allowed 3 earned runs on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 8 strikeouts.

With Minnesota leading 2-0 in the top of the second, Walker hit a changeup from Allen Watson for a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Twins ahead, 5-0.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Walker told a Minnesota Today reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."

Minnesota's record now stands at 22-27, placing them 4th in the Federal League Central Division.
