Cleveland Spiders starter Juan Nieves pitched a strong game against the Minnesota Twins at League Park, leading the Spiders to a 5-1 win. The Spiders improve their record to 26-23 with the win over Minnesota.

With two out in the bottom of the fifth, Kevin Mitchell barreled up a slider from Pedro Astacio. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Spiders in front, 3-0.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Nieves.
